You may tile over existing tile painted or unpainted drywall plaster and textured walls.

Glazed wall tile offer nothing for plaster to stick to so plastering directly to tile isn t a good idea. Both painted and bare plaster allows for the installation of tile. Mix degreasing cleaner with water in a bucket using a dilution recommended.
