Plug ethernet cable into computer error.
One end is connected to your computer and the other is connected to the main network device probably a router.
I have plugged the router up to a different computer and my xbox and it works that way.

Wifi works fine with phones ipods ipads and another laptop that was also updated to windows 10 a desktop still using windows 8.
Now locate your ethernet connection and right click on it.
But once i plug it into my laptop there is nothing.
The wifi will pick up just fine i would just rather have an ethernet connection.
