1 start with garage door closed car outside the garage facing the door and ignition on.
In order to program it follow this steps be carefully as your garage door may open and close as you do it.
Press and hold the button of your remote control for 30 seconds.
Go to vehicle settings.
Repeat the press and release 2 more times that s 3 times in all.
Press the learn or smart button located on the back of the garage door motor.
Select program door opener.
2 press and hold the two outside i and iii homelink buttons until it flashes rapidly to reset or for first time programming.
For first time programming press and hold the two outer buttons on the homelink panel located on the roof of your audi buttons i and iii for 20 seconds until the led indicator flashes slowly.
Go to the front of your audi and hold your existing garage door opener in front of the audi logo.
Press the homelink button you wish to program i ii or iii and hold it until the led starts flashing slowly again.
